Ørsted’s first Taiwan offshore wind farm pperation and maintenance center has officailly launched in Taichung Port in August

Ørsted held the completion and opening ceremony of the " Ørsted Taiwan Offshore Wind Farm Operation and Maintenance Center" in Taichung Port on August 2. It is the first #offshorewind O&M building in the Asia-Pacific region with sustainable design and multiple green solutions. The operation and maintenance facility with the largest maintenance energy and the widest area, which will be responsible for all the O&M operations of the four Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farm with a total capacity of 2.4 GW and a life cycle of at least 20-30 years.
Jong-chin Shen, Vice President of the Executive Yuan, said, "We attach great importance to the operation and maintenance center that Ørsted has opened today, which represents the next important milestone for Taiwan's offshore wind industry. As you can see in the port area, there are blades, nacelles and industrial settlements related to offshore wind everywhere, which can be said to have brought new industrial opportunities to Central Taiwan."
