DHL Group, the world's leading logistics provider, and LONGi Solar, a global leader in high-efficiency solar technologies, have signed an MOU to advance green-energy deployment and low-emission logistics innovation. The partnership will focus on expanding the use of distributed solar solutions, including LONGi's latest Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) technology, across DHL facilities in Europe to improve energy efficiency and support long-term decarbonization goals.

The collaboration builds on DHL's existing logistics partnership with LONGi and will expand DHL's support for LONGi's global growth through enhanced B2C logistics, fulfillment services, and customized solutions for LONGi's battery energy storage system (BESS) business. The both companies will also explore solar-plus-storage applications, green hydrogen opportunities, and pilot projects for next-generation clean-energy technologies.

"Our collaboration with LONGi Solar reflects how clean-energy innovation and global logistics excellence can reinforce each other," said Michael Wiedemann, President Energy Sector, DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation. "Alongside deploying LONGi's solar technologies across our operations, we are supporting their global expansion with integrated services that help bring their solutions to market faster."

"LONGi Solar is proud to partner with DHL Group to support the integration of solar energy into large-scale logistics infrastructure," said Alex Li, General Manager of Western Europe at LONGi. "As a globally leading integrated solar and storage company, we advance high-efficiency technologies and system solutions designed for complex commercial and industrial environments. The partnership with DHL provides a strong platform to scale these solutions globally, supporting DHL's sustainability journey."

The partnership aligns with DHL's "Strategy 2030: Accelerating Sustainable Growth," which identifies new energy as a key growth area. Through collaboration with LONGi, DHL aims to strengthen clean-energy adoption across its global network and develop integrated logistics solutions covering renewable energy sectors, including solar, batteries, energy storage systems, EV charging, alternative fuels, and hydrogen.

Under the MoU, DHL Group and LONGi plan to collaborate through:

.Deployment of LONGi BIPV and other advanced distributed solar technologies at DHL buildings and logistics infrastructure
.Co‑development of innovative solar‑plus‑storage solutions tailored for logistics applications.
.Joint exploration of green hydrogen and next‑generation clean‑energy concepts.
.Early‑access and co‑creation initiatives to pilot and test LONGi innovations within DHL’s global network.
.Expansion of DHL’s logistics support for LONGi to build scalable, end‑to‑end logistics pathways that enable global renewable‑energy adoption.
.Close senior executive collaboration to evaluate progress and emerging opportunities.
