PXGEO has secured its first contract in Malaysia to deliver offshore seismic data acquisition services under a two-year agreement. This includes a minimum commitment of 365 days of acquisition activity over the contract term utilizing the PXGEO 2 seismic vessel which will mobilize this month (August).

Germany and South Korea have raised alarms over potential national security risks linked to Chinese offshore wind power projects, yet major ventures continue without clear countermeasures. In May, Germany's Defense Institute warned that turbines supplied by a Chinese company, "Mingyang Smart Energy," founded by a former People's Liberation Army officer, could be remotely manipulated, crippling the grid and serving as political leverage. Despite these concerns, Berlin has neither halted the 270 MW Waterkant project in the North Sea nor implemented concrete safeguards.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), through its fifth flagship fund (CI V), today (20th) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the onshore substation of the Fengmiao Offshore Wind Farm. Distinguished guests in attendance included Taichung Deputy Mayor Huang Guo-Rong, TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd Intelligence Energy Business Group President David Kuo, Taiwan International Ports Co., Ltd (TIPC) President Wang Chin-Jung, Taichung Port Branch of TIPC President Lin Chun-Fu, and Taichung Fishermen's Association Chairman Chao Pin-Jan, who together witnessed this important milestone in the Fengmiao project's development.

CSBC Corporation, Taiwan (CSBC) announced on Aug 20th that its subsidiary, CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering Co., Ltd. (CDWE), has successfully completed the installation of jacket foundations for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project (hereinafter referred to as the Hai Long Project). Following the successful completion of 219 monopile installations in June in 2025, all 73 jacket foundations have now been fully installed ahead of schedule!

Vena Global Group Pte Ltd ("Vena Group") announced today it has secured 1.1 GW of additional offtake contracts and construction capacity year-to-date in 2025, expanding Vena Group's total operating, construction, and contracted (OCC) portfolio to 9.7 GW. The OCC portfolio spans Vena Group's four geographical regions: 2.4 GW in Japan, 2.4 GW in North Asia-Pacific (including South Korea, Taiwan, and Australia), 3.8 GW in Southeast Asia (including the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand), and 1.1 GW in India.

Century Wind Power Delivers 21 Subsea Foundations Marking Key Localization Milestone in Hai Long Offshore Wind Project
On August 15th, the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project ( "Hai Long") announced the successful completion and delivery of 21 three-legged jacket foundations by local supplier Century Wind Power Co., Ltd. ("Century Wind Power"). This marks the first project to complete assembly operations since Century Wind Power commissioned its newly built "Twin Tower" heavy-lifting facility, representing a key milestone in the localization of Taiwan's offshore wind industry.
