|EU Approves Nearly €7 Billion Hydrogen Investment Projects in Member States
The European Commission recently approved the third Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) proposed by seven member states, including Italy, allocating nearly €7 billion to support projects within their jurisdiction. These funds aim to enhance hydrogen production capacity, reduce dependence on natural gas, and contribute to the goals of the European Green Deal, including infrastructure development. Private investments totaling €54 billion are expected to be stimulated.
|Finland announced €14.1 million budget for 2024 Energy Subsidy Program
The Ministry of Economic Affairs Finland and Employment announced a budget allocation of €14.1 million this year to promote renewable energy, renewable hydrogen, fuel refining, energy efficiency, and the transition to other green energy sources. Additionally, €10 million will be redistributed to support energy efficiency and improve performance, prioritizing investments in advanced technologies, commercialization, and control grid systems.

The North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Headquarters actively assists tourism operators within its jurisdiction in obtaining the Green Travel Seal (GTS) certification to ensure environmental protection, social responsibility, and safety. This effort aims to align with global sustainable tourism trends. Yehliu Geopark obtained a one-star GTS certification this year, becoming the second operator in Taiwan's North Coast to achieve this recognition.
