e-Formula Technologies Inc., a leading energy efficiency solutions provider in Taiwan, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chodai Co., Ltd., represented locally by Chodai Taiwan Inc. The partnership aims to strengthen behind-the-meter (BTM) asset management capabilities in Taiwan and Japan. As a distinguished leader in Japan's engineering consultancy sector, Chodai Co., Ltd. has a diversified portfolio spanning bridges, rail transportation, energy, and information and communication technology, excelling in public-private partnership (PPP) projects. Toshimichi Hosoya, President of Chodai Taiwan, emphasized e-Formula's strategic importance as the company’s primary international partner. From deploying intelligent energy management systems (EMS) to achieving energy savings, cost reductions, and carbon emissions mitigation, e-Formula has demonstrated exceptional execution capabilities in Taiwan. With a robust team, e-Formula brings extensive experience in green energy infrastructure, project financing, and fostering long-term relationships with local governments and supply chains. e-Formula Chairman Peter Chang highlighted that this collaboration underscores the company's position as a critical bridge for international investors seeking entry into Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific renewable energy markets. Recognizing e-Formula's potential for global partnerships, Chodai aims to jointly deliver innovative solutions to address key challenges in the renewable energy supply chain across the Asia-Pacific region. e-Formula continues to invest in cultivating local talent, inspiring a new generation in Taiwan to contribute to the green energy sector.

The partnership also includes Tokyo Century's financing and leasing solutions and Kyudenko's construction expertise, represented in Taiwan by Kyuren Environmental Development Co., Ltd., to optimize Chodai’s assets in the Asia-Pacific region. This MOU signing further validates the team’s professional and innovative capabilities, highlighting the competence of Taiwan-based companies in managing energy projects on an international scale. It also reflects Taiwan’s steady progress toward achieving its renewable energy ambitions under government leadership. e-Formula has recently achieved significant milestones in the smart energy sector. In February, the company signed an exclusive distribution agreement with France-based ENOGIA to deliver high-performance, low-noise Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) generators to Taiwan Cement Corporation’s Hongye Valley Green Energy Hot Spring Resort, driving geothermal energy development in Taiwan. Additionally, E-Formula has partnered with AI energy scheduling pioneers NaiNeng and Dongyi to set a new benchmark in energy dispatch efficiency, leveraging AI technologies to meet the growing global demand for electricity. e-Formula is committed to contributing meaningfully to Taiwan's energy transition goals, including the nation’s target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
