HDRE Calls for New-Era Green-Collar Talent to Join and Embrace the Global Wave of Energy Transition

Since its establishment in 2016, HD Renewable Energy (HDRE) has undergone multiple transformations, steadily advancing toward becoming an intelligent power company that integrates internationalization and platformization. As energy trends continue to evolve, HDRE achieved a remarkable milestone in 2024, surpassing NT$10 billion in revenue. The company continues to expand its team by recruiting top talent. Today (20th), HDRE held its first online recruitment seminar, inviting professionals from diverse fields such as green energy management, cloud computing, and software development to join the team. Notably, software-related positions account for over one-third of the openings, aiming to collaboratively embrace the global wave of energy transition.
According to the《Green Collar Talent Employment Trend Report》published by the MOEA in December 2024, the demand for green collar professionals in Taiwan is growing at an astonishing rate. The report reveals that approximately 3,600 companies were engaged in green talent recruitment in 2024, with an average monthly demand of 22,000 professionals—3.29 times higher than eight years ago. This demand is nearly comparable to the AI industry’s monthly talent requirement of 29,000 professionals. With carbon pricing regulations gradually taking effect and the transition into a carbon pricing era set for 2025, green collar professionals have become key drivers in achieving the goal of net-zero transformation by 2050.
HDRE builds its foundation on three core businesses: power generation, energy storage, and electricity sales. Leveraging its self-developed AI smart green energy system "TITAN", HDRE provides comprehensive green energy solutions. As a leader in net-zero carbon solutions, HDRE is continuously expanding its professional team. During this online recruitment seminar, department heads were invited to share business strategies and project details, aiming to attract passionate and skilled professionals to join the energy industry. By the end of 2024, the HDRE Group had grown from 292 employees at the end of 2023 to 391 employees—a 34% increase in just one year. Its operations now span Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Penghu, Tokyo, and Sydney, reflecting robust growth and the vitality of its international team.
At the beginning of the year, HDRE announced more than 70 job openings, including positions such as Green Energy Managers, Energy Matching Specialists, and Consultants, focusing on providing green energy advisory services and energy management solutions to meet the growing market demand. With the carbon pricing mechanism set to launch in 2025, the integration of green energy supply-demand matching, solar-storage-charging solutions, and innovative business models has become a key focus for HDRE's development.
HDRE is also prioritizing the recruitment of talent in cloud computing, software development, system architecture, data analysis, and information security. These roles aim to enhance the technical capabilities of its energy management platform, improve the efficiency of green energy matching and charging station operations, and deliver reliable and secure services to clients. Furthermore, HDRE is actively seeking professionals with expertise in international market insights or artificial intelligence to refine its electricity trading forecasting solutions. By optimizing sales strategies through AI technology, HDRE aims to bolster its competitiveness and operational efficiency in overseas markets.
