Century Wind Power Constructs 21 Subsea Foundations for Hai Long Offshore Wind Project, commences with Grand Ceremony

　　On May 22, HaiLong Offshore Wind Project and Century Wind Power Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony of 21 jacket foundations in Taipei Port District, Century Wind Power.

　　The contract was signed in December 2022, and Century Wind Power will tailor a three-legged jacket foundation manufacturing for the Hailong Project by the geological conditions of the wind farm, with a height of more than 90 meters and a single seat weighing 2,000 tons, equivalent to the total weight of 1,000 vehicles, and is estimated to be the most significant foundation of Taiwan's offshore wind farm when completed.

　　Century Group's plants will be ready for foundation manufacturing, including Century Wind Power Taipei Port Plant, Century Steel Guanyin Factory, Century Steel Yunlin Factory, and Century Huaxin Taichung Port Factory.

　　Hai Long project has completed and launched various major contracts, which are expected to be connected to the grid from 2025 to 2026. The project will become the largest single wind farm in Taiwan's history, providing more than one million households with electricity after completion.
