IEA: Renewable Energy to Surpass Coal in Global Power Generation Share by 2025
The International Energy Agency (IEA) stated on the 24th that it anticipates low-carbon sources to represent nearly half of global electricity generation by around 2026, up from less than 40% in 2023. Additionally, it is estimated that by early 2025, renewable energy will surpass coal in the total power generation share, accounting for over one-third.

Italy Incentivizes the Development of Renewable Energy Communities and Power Self-Sufficiency
Italy's Environment and Energy Security implemented a law on renewable energy communities and power self-sufficiency starting from the 24th. It provides 2 types of incentives to promote the development of renewable energy communities: (1) The national government offers up to 40% non-repayable funds to support the construction of 2 GW installation capacity in towns with a population of less than 5,000; (2) Incentivized tariffs for renewable energy and shared electricity. The development is expected to achieve a total installed capacity of 5 GW.

CSCC's Graphite Carbon Microsphere Product Applied in Lithium Batteries – Annual Production of 2,000 Tons Sold Worldwide
China Steel Chemical Corporation (CSCC) currently produces 2,000 tons of graphite carbon microsphere products annually, selling them from Taiwan to countries such as Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. In addition to being used in lithium batteries for electric buses and energy storage containers, it has recently been extended to pure electric racing cars and supercar electric power system installations.
