The 2024 New Energy and Agriculture Carbon Reduction Dialogue aims to accelerate Taiwan's low-carbon transition by fostering discussions on pioneering energy solutions and carbon reduction practices across the energy and agriculture sectors. With expert insights from industry leaders, the forum will cover a diverse range of critical topics, including Taiwan's new energy development strategy, electricity response and grid stability, geothermal energy development, offshore wind O&M strategies and interconnector plan in the Asia-Pacific, and the offshore solar energy development plan. Additionally, the event will address vital issues in sustainable agriculture, such as carbon reduction in farming, sustainable fisheries strategies, biodiversity conservation, as well as advancements in biofuels like HVO fuel applications and biomass energy.
This forum provides a platform for policymakers, industry experts, and sustainability advocates to share innovative strategies and best practices that enhance renewable integration, grid resilience, and sustainable agricultural practices, advancing Taiwan’s commitment to a net-zero future and contributing to global sustainability goals.
