CIP Foundation Local Supply Chain Assistance Program Successfully Completed – Four Companies Certified by DNV

To promote the development of Taiwan's local foundation industry and enhance quality standards, the "Foundation Local Supply Chain Assistance Program," initiated by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as part of the investment in the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farms, has recently been successfully completed. The program was executed by internationally renowned third-party certification body DNV, which conducted factory certifications for local suppliers with experience in foundation production. A certification ceremony was held today (Apr 11) to recognize the companies that passed the evaluation.
The certified companies include CTCI Machinery Corporation (Dashe Plant and Dalin Plant), APEX, Formorsa Heavy Industry, and Tai-shing Engineering and Construction, totaling five factories are certified. All these companies have previously participated in CIP's offshore wind projects in Taiwan and have now successfully passed DNV's certification through the support of this assistance program, demonstrating their capabilities in production, quality control, and regulatory compliance to international standards.
During the certification process, DNV conducted comprehensive assessments based on rigorous technical, quality, and sustainability standards. The evaluation covered production processes, quality assurance mechanisms, and extended to areas such as environmental protection and corporate social responsibility. This certification ceremony not only acknowledges the efforts and achievements of the participating companies but also highlights CIP's long-term commitment to supporting local industries and the development of Taiwan's offshore wind supply chain.
