On the 24th, Taiya Renewable Energy (TRE) held a family picnic event in Tongxiao, Miaoli, attracting over 200 local residents. The event aimed to strengthen education on sustainable energy and environmental protection. TRE is actively promoting the development of floating offshore wind energy in Taiwan, planning to invest in the "Huanyang Offshore Wind Project" off the coast of Miaoli, and is committed to local community welfare. The event featured a variety of interactive experiences, including DIY workshops, demonstrations of century-old rush weaving crafts, and gourmet food trucks.

Kun-Da Wu (K.D. Wu), Chairman of TRE, stated that TRE has been in close communication with the local community for the past 3 years and has organized ESG events for 2 years. The family picnic event in Miaoli once again received support and participation from key local figures, further deepening the connection with the community.

Wu further mentioned that the "Huanyang Offshore Wind Project" passed its environmental impact assessment in March of this year and is being developed in collaboration with the French technology developer BW Ideol, preparing for the selection of the floating wind farm demonstration project. As a local offshore wind energy company in Taiwan, TRE will continue to earn the community's trust, advancing energy transition while preserving local values and culture.
