To foster high school student's understanding of sustainability and the green energy industry, Vena Energy is organizing the "2024 Green Seed Summer Camp." The event will be held on August 21, 2024, at Vena's Chiayi Yizhu Solar Plant and Ecological Conservation Site. Registration is open until August 5. Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the solar plant, enhancing their knowledge of green energy.
Wen-Cheng Li, President of Vena Energy Taiwan, stated that the company is responsible for inspiring the next generation to value environmental protection. By collaborating with the Japanese team, the event encourages high school students to consider climate change issues, aiming to cultivate future leaders interested in green energy. The camp aims to educate students on the importance of energy transition and demonstrate practical examples of green energy coexisting with the environment.
The Green Energy Ecological Education Center and Ecological Conservation Site at Chiayi Yizhu Solar Plant are managed by Vena Energy in collaboration with the Kaohsiung Wild Bird Society and Tunghai University (THU). They conduct long-term ecological monitoring and conservation projects.
