|Huawei Digital Power launches FusionSolar C&I OASIS Solution in Malaysia
Huawei Digital Power has introduced its innovative FusionSolar C&I OASIS Solution in Malaysia, marking the first launch of this groundbreaking technology in the Asia-Pacific region. This new solution is expected to significantly accelerate Malaysia's transition to green energy while enhancing the safety and efficiency of commercial and industrial solar installations.

Simon Sun, CEO of Huawei Malaysia, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting Malaysia's green energy growth. He highlighted that the combination of solar power and energy storage is poised to become the most economical and widespread form of power. As photovoltaic (PV) energy generation improves and solar panel costs decrease, the FusionSolar solution, which integrates solar and energy storage, is set to reduce reliance on diesel generators, mitigating both economic and environmental impacts.

|Environmental Firm YIDO Partners with Daewoo E&C to Develop 400 MW Offshore Wind Farm in Incheon
YIDO Co., Ltd., an environmental company, has announced its collaboration with Daewoo Engineering & Construction (대우건설)  to develop a 400 MW offshore wind farm in Ongjin County, Incheon. The project is expected to involve an investment of approximately 2.4 trillion KRW. YIDO has already completed wind measurement and site consultations and is preparing to apply for a power generation business license. The company is also maintaining partnerships with several specialized firms. Additionally, YIDO is advancing a 70 MW solar power project in the region, with construction slated to begin in November, and is planning to develop an additional 65 MW solar power facility.

Daewoo Engineering & Construction is actively participating in various domestic renewable energy projects and is co-developing a 15 MW floating offshore wind model with Dutch offshore wind company MonoBase Wind, which has received Approval in Principle (AiP) from Det Norske Veritas (DNV). A representative from YIDO stated that the company will continue to strengthen its development in the renewable energy sector to meet global carbon neutrality standards.

|Japanese Sumitomo Acquires Stake in EEW Group's Offshore Wind Holding
Sumitomo Corporation, based in Japan, has acquired an equity stake in EEW Offshore Wind Holding, a newly established entity within EEW Group aimed at improving business efficiency. This strategic partnership took effect on July 1, as confirmed by EEW Group on August 19. The collaboration brings Sumitomo’s extensive expertise in the international steel market to the family-run EEW Offshore Wind Holding.

EEW Group's Managing Partner, Christoph Schorge, emphasized the importance of this partnership in maintaining the company’s position as a global market leader and ensuring healthy growth. While the majority shares remain with the founding families, Sumitomo’s involvement is seen as a vital step in securing the necessary resources for large-scale projects. The finalization of this transaction is pending EU regulatory approvals.

Alongside the announcement of Sumitomo's investment, EEW Group introduced three new holding companies, each aligned with different business segments. EEW Offshore Wind Holding will manage the monopile business, including the Rostock production site and related mechanical engineering activities. Additionally, EEW Management Services will oversee services previously handled by EEW Holding, further streamlining operations within this division.
