The Kaohsiung City has completed the environmental assessment review for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's (TSMC) third new semiconductor plant in Kaohsiung. The meeting concluded with the approval of the review. The development of the plant site, including both production and administrative areas, covers a total area of 17.22 hectares. Chang-Chan Tsai, Director of the Water Resource Bureau, Kaohsiung City, promised that the construction timelines for the future Ciaotou and Gangshan recycled water plants will align with TSMC's construction needs, ensuring 100% recycled water supply as scheduled.

NVIDIA recently established the Taipei-1 AI Supercomputer Advanced Computing Center in the Kaohsiung Software Park, stimulating an overall investment boom in the "Asia New Bay Area." According to the Bureau of Industrial Parks, MOEA, the AI trend has driven Kaohsiung Software Park Phase 1 to achieve a revenue of NT$3.25 billion in the first four months of this year, marking a 33.4% growth, the highest in eight years.
