In a relaxed setting, the "Ring of OMNI Phoenix" business gathering, exploring sustainable development, was hosted by Enera Media Ltd. (EnergyOMNI Media) on December 28, 2023, in Kaohsiung. The event featured Wen-Ling Hong, Deputy Minister of the Ocean Affairs Council (OAC), and Marian Chiang, Senior Vice President & Exclusive Assistance to the President at FCF Co., Ltd., engaging in casual conversations with attendees.

Hong shared insights from her transition from an academic role at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) to the public sector in the past year. While accustomed to the teacher's role of identifying problems, Hong emphasized the shift to a goal-oriented approach in seeking solutions upon entering the public sector. Simultaneously, Hong acknowledged the significant gap between the completeness of Taiwan's marine governance and its terrestrial counterpart, expressing her commitment to contribute towards establishing ocean-centric governance.

Hong has traversed various roles in life, transitioning from the field of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering to engaging in interdisciplinary exploration. Through these transformations, Hong has continuously ascended different learning curves. Recognizing that women's stories can offer new paradigms beyond patriarchal traditions, Hong believes women can be their own advocates at any moment. Hong also aspires for all women to support each other continually, enhancing power and energy in their future careers and lives.

Chiang has a wealth of experience in the business sector, having served in public relations roles in the technology industry and at Ogilvy. Additionally, Chiang held significant positions in a Taiwanese company which located in the U.K.

Upon returning to her hometown, Kaohsiung, Chiang garnered recognition for her crisis management skills while serving as the spokesperson and assistant manager of the Public Affairs Department at the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation (KRTC) and as the spokesperson for E United Group.

Chiang has been entrusted with hosting duties for numerous grand occasions in southern Taiwan, including the opening ceremony of the International World Games Association (IWGA) held in Kaohsiung in 2009, where Chiang also had the honor of hosting distinguished guests, including heads of state and resident representatives.

Chiang shared her philosophy of "Being the Second," emphasizing the importance of actions over words and effective communication. Chiang envisions leading FCF Co., Ltd. towards the goal of sustainable fisheries, positioning the company as a pioneer in the seafood industry.
