At the 2025 Net Zero Cities2 and Smart Cities Exhibition, held on March 18, Taiwan's dual-city interactive showcase between Taipei and Kaohsiung highlighted the nation's smart urbanization and low-carbon achievements. e-FORMULA, leveraging its groundbreaking Bohol Island Net Zero Transformation Project, earned the Best System Output Award at the Kaohsiung event—demonstrating its exceptional prowess in smart energy management and international green energy transformation.

In August 2023, e-FORMULA entered into a landmark 25-year smart energy system integration contract with the province of Bohol in the Philippines. The comprehensive project encompasses solar, wind, and hydro power; energy storage; electric vehicle applications; and carbon credit trading—offering an all-encompassing green energy solution designed to propel Bohol Island toward a net zero future. The initiative aims to serve as a successful model for the integration and application of five key capabilities: energy generating, conservation, smart management, storage, and charging.

For this ambitious project, e-FORMULA joined forces with renowned Japanese engineering consultant Chodai Corporation. The collaboration, which secured robust support from the Japanese government, harnessed Chodai's extensive expertise in bridges, rail transit, energy, and telecommunications to introduce advanced engineering technologies and a public-private partnership (PPP) model—a milestone in cross-border cooperation.

Since its inception in 2007, e-FORMULA has evolved from providing ICT solutions to pioneering smart connectivity and energy management systems. Since 2016, the company has integrated its five strategic capabilities—creation, conservation, smart management, storage, and charging—driving a win-win scenario for clients, suppliers, and investors alike. With over 15 years of deep market engagement in the Philippines, e-FORMULA has not only showcased stellar execution in Taiwan but also expanded its overseas workforce beyond its domestic presence, exemplifying a successful international expansion strategy.

In January this year, the company further bolstered its global market position by collaborating with Japan's Chodai Group and Tokyo Century Corporation to enhance asset management capabilities in the aftermarket sector between Taiwan and Japan.

As the global economy shifts towards a low-carbon future, the synergy between governmental and corporate efforts remains pivotal for industrial upgrade and sustainable economic development. e-FORMULA is committed to integrating diverse resources and advancing technological innovation to help Taiwan achieve its 2050 net zero emissions target. Through sustained international collaborations and continuous innovation, the company is set to inspire further creative thinking and cross-disciplinary partnerships, setting a new benchmark for green energy development worldwide.
