2nd Taiwan-Poland Hydrogen Working Group Meeting Convened to Deepen Bilateral Cooperation
To further deepen cooperation between Taiwan and Poland in the field of hydrogen energy, the 2nd Taiwan-Poland Hydrogen Working Group Meeting was successfully convened on the 16th. Hosted by Poland, the meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Chung-Hsin Chen, Deputy Director General of Taiwan's Energy Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and Mr. Dariusz Kucel, Director of the Department of Electromobility, Fuels and Hydrogen Economy at Poland's Ministry of Energy.

Fluence and AIDC Collaborate on Industrial Energy Storage Deployment to Bolster Taiwan's Manufacturing Energy Resilience
Fluence, a global leader in intelligent energy storage products and asset management software, announced today the first deployment of its next-generation, high-energy-density Gridstack Pro 5000 system in Taiwan. The system will support Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) in developing a 9 MW / 54 MWh behind-the-meter energy storage microgrid, scheduled to enter operation in July 2026. A groundbreaking ceremony was held at AIDC's Taichung facility in late November, marking the formal launch of construction.

Linde LienHwa and CPC Launch Demonstration Hydrogen Refueling Stations to Meet Growing Market Demand
Taiwan's leading industrial gas supplier, Linde LienHwa, has partnered with CPC Corporation, Taiwan (hereinafter "CPC"), to officially inaugurate two hydrogen refueling stations on December 11 at CPC's Kaohsiung Nanzih Hydrogen Refueling Station. The facilities include Linde LienHwa's demonstration hydrogen refueling station at the Tainan Tree Valley Technology Park and CPC's Kaohsiung Nanzih Hydrogen Refueling Station, both of which are now in commercial operation.

From December 9 to 11, 2025, Minister of Economic Affairs, Ming-Hsin Kung, led a delegation to Poland, attending the Taiwan-Poland Business Forum on December 10 and officiating the opening ceremony of the Taiwan Trade and Investment Service Center in Warsaw. The event was supported by Konrad Wojnarowski, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy, Jacek Karnowski, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, and other Polish economic and trade officials. Prior to the forum, Minister Kung also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on drone cooperation, further deepening Taiwan-Poland collaboration on democratic supply chains and economic partnership.

ETICA Battery Inc. HD Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. ("HDRE"), a leading smart energy company, announced consolidated revenue of NT$802 million for November 2025. As of November, cumulative revenue for 2025 reached NT$7.144 billion, driven primarily by the progressive recognition of materials and engineering works for energy storage projects, solar PV installations, and fishery and electricity symbiosis developments across Taiwan, as well as power trading under electricity wheeling arrangements.

South Korea has announced a comprehensive "Onshore Wind Power Activation Strategy," aimed at tripling installed capacity from the current 2 GW to 6 GW by 2030. The government plans to accelerate development by expanding the use of public land and streamlining administrative procedures. These reforms are expected to shorten project timelines from the typical 10 years to about 6 years.
