During the 2022 Global Corporate Sustainability Forum (2022 GCSF) held in the Taipei Grand Hotel on November 17, British Standards Institution ( BSI Taiwan )hosted the 2022 BSI Sustainability Standards Summit, with this year’s theme “International Standards & Sustainable Finance." Over 600 participants, including guests from both the public and private sectors, attended the conference, and discussions were led by distinguished figures from both sectors around “green finance” and establishing sustainable environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) ecosystems with the goal of enhancing organizational resilience and excellence.

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) is teaming up with Flotation Energy
One of Japan’s biggest companies is teaming up with Scottish offshore wind developer, Flotation Energy.
Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) is Japan’s largest electricity utility; and one of the largest in the world. Its subsidiary, TEPCO Renewable Power, has a generating capacity of 9.9 GW of renewable energy in Japan. This is TEPCOs first major venture into offshore wind markets in the UK and overseas. Flotation Energy will become part of the TEPCO Group.

The Small and Medium Enterprises Administration (SMEA), the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, and the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in Taipei jointly held the "Taiwan and Luxembourg B2B Matchmaking" on September 28, hoping to invite companies that are interested from Taiwan to connect with the Luxembourg's greentechnology and digital technology enterprises to jointly create new business opportunities for netzero and green growth. Cross-border cooperation in "green technology" can be said to be one of the keys to net zero in 2050.
